At the desk

• Ibanez has released the 540P3, a close relative of Ola's old 540P2. Ola: "You're doing it again, eh?" At Ibanez, a new generation is one digit higher.
• IK Multimedia's TONEX Board is out at $999, and Ola likes the price against the Quad Cortex and the Fractal FM3. He has not tried it.
• Ola shared that his dog, Pix, died while he was travelling in Mexico. We are sorry to hear about Pix, and our sympathies go out to you and your family.
